Jean-Marie Gufin, a genius winemaker nicknamed the "Magician of White Wine," moved from Belgium to Burgundy with his wife in the 1970s and founded his own Domaine, Gufin-Hénin, in Mâcon. He overturned the image of Mâcon as a cheap wine region and quickly rose to become one of the top producers. Now, no introduction is necessary for Burgundy fans.
