Wan's Wine, a company that has built a history of Japanese wine in Yamanashi and Nagano prefectures, produces this wine.
The wine uses Merlot grapes from its own and contracted vineyards in the Osato district of Komoro City, located in the eastern Chikuma River Wine Valley in Nagano Prefecture. The vines are over 30 years old and are carefully harvested, sorted, and destemmed by hand.
